How to Contact Binance Support (2026)

By HodlGuide Editorial Team · August 23, 2026 · 8 min read

Binance support runs almost entirely through the Binance website and app: an AI-assisted live chat that you can escalate to a human agent, backed by a searchable Help Center and an official X (Twitter) account for general questions. There is no phone number and no email address for the main Binance.com platform — Binance says this explicitly, in its own FAQs, specifically because fake “Binance support” phone numbers are a well-documented scam. The one real exception is Binance.US, a separate US-only company with its own published phone line, and confusing the two is one of the most common mistakes people make when searching for “Binance customer service.” Last updated / verified: August 2026.

The official ways to contact Binance support

Channel What it’s for Notes
Help Center — binance.com/en/support Self-service FAQ articles organised by topic (account, trading, security, and more) Always the fastest option if your issue is common
In-app / web live chat Real support requests, including account-specific issues AI-first: the bot suggests FAQ answers, and you mark them “Unresolved” or “Not relevant” until it offers to escalate to a human agent
@BinanceHelpDesk on X/Twitter Basic, generic questions Binance’s official account for public help; it asks users to DM for anything account-specific
Binance Verify — binance.com/en/official-verification Checking whether a website, email, phone number, WeChat ID, X account, or Telegram ID genuinely represents Binance Use this before trusting any contact that claims to be Binance

Binance does not list Discord as an official support channel. If you come across a “Binance Official” Discord server offering to help, don’t assume it’s actually run by Binance.

Does Binance have a support email or phone number?

No. Binance states this directly on its own Help Center: “Binance Support is only available on the official Binance website.” A separate FAQ on contacting customer support goes further, stating plainly: “There is no mail, phone, or official support in Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.” Binance also publishes a dedicated FAQ titled “How to Identify Fake Binance Support Phone Numbers,” which states outright that anyone calling and claiming to be Binance support is a scammer, since no legitimate phone number exists.

Important distinction: Binance.US is not Binance.com. Binance.US is a legally separate, US-only company, and it does publish a toll-free number: +1 (844) 900-1450, Monday–Friday, 9am–7pm ET. That number belongs to Binance.US customers only — it is not a phone line for the global Binance.com platform that most users worldwide sign up with. Plenty of consumer-complaint sites and search results list this Binance.US number under a generic “Binance Customer Service” heading without making that distinction clear, which is exactly the kind of confusion scammers rely on. Before calling any number, be certain which entity you’re actually a customer of.

Step-by-step: how to open a support chat/ticket

  • Log into your Binance account on the website or in the app.
  • Open the chat/Support icon. An AI assistant will suggest FAQ-based answers based on what you type.
  • Work through the suggestions. If none resolve your issue, mark them “Unresolved” or “Not relevant” — this is what unlocks further options.
  • When prompted, explicitly choose to escalate (typically phrased as “Yes, transfer to customer service”). The bot will not hand you off automatically.
  • Once you’re in the queue, reply within 24 hours to keep your place — Binance states this explicitly, and going quiet can bump you out of the queue.
    • Have your evidence ready before you start: transaction ID (TxID), screenshots of the relevant deposit/withdrawal/transaction history, and a clear one-line description of the problem. This noticeably speeds up resolution.

Binance does not publish a guaranteed numeric response-time SLA (no “we reply within X hours” promise). The 24-hour rule above is only about not losing your spot in the queue — it isn’t a commitment on how long the whole process takes.

Common issues & the fastest route for each

    Issue Fastest route
Account locked / KYC issue If it’s a straightforward verification gap (expired ID, failed face scan), resubmit your documents directly in-app — no ticket required. If it’s a risk/fraud-flag lock, check the Withdraw page for an “Appeal” option. A countdown timer instead of an appeal button means it’s an automatic security lock that has to run its course.
Withdrawal stuck / pending Check Wallet → Overview → Transaction History for the TxID, then verify it on a blockchain explorer. Only contact support if no TxID appears within 6 hours of confirming the withdrawal by email. A suspended withdrawal shows an “Appeal” button next to it on your withdrawal history page.
Deposit not showing Deposits credit only once the coin’s required network confirmations are met — for example, Binance requires 2 confirmations for BTC even though the network minimum is 1. If it’s confirmed on-chain but still not credited, contact support with the TxID, token name, amount, and time. Deposited with the wrong memo/tag? Use the separate self-service “Unknown Memo/Tag Recovery” page instead of opening a ticket.
2FA reset (lost Authenticator) If you saved your Authenticator backup key at setup, you can self-recover. Otherwise, use the in-app “Reset Google Authentication” flow, verifying via another available 2FA method. After any 2FA reset, withdrawals, P2P selling, payment services, and Binance Card are automatically disabled for 48 hours as a security measure — this is expected, not an error.

Regional note (EU users): Since 1 July 2026, Binance suspended onboarding of new EU users and restricted existing EU accounts to closing positions and withdrawals only, after failing to secure a MiCA licence in time — it withdrew its Greece MiCA application on 24 June 2026 and is reportedly now pursuing licensing via France. Withdrawals remain open for EU users during this wind-down. This affects trading and onboarding, not the support/chat system itself, so EU users can still use live chat to manage their accounts.

⚠️ Beware fake Binance support scams

Binance is one of the most impersonated brands in crypto, and Binance has published detailed warnings about it directly on its own site:

  • Fake support phone numbers. Binance’s FAQ “How to Identify Fake Binance Support Phone Numbers” states flatly that Binance has no legitimate phone line, so any call claiming to be Binance support is fraudulent by definition.
  • Phishing emails. Binance’s own phishing FAQ shows real examples of lookalike sender domains — such as spoofed addresses styled like “do-not-reply19@www–binance.com” — alongside malware hidden in fake PDF attachments.
  • The fake “unauthorised withdrawal” SMS scam. A documented pattern, reported by outlets including Yahoo Finance and Bitcoin.com News: a fake text alert claims an unauthorised withdrawal is in progress and urges the victim to call a number immediately. That number routes to a fraudulent call centre trained to extract 2FA codes or seed phrases, or to pressure victims into moving funds to an attacker’s wallet.
  • Binance’s core anti-scam advice: set up an anti-phishing code (it will then appear in every genuine Binance email you receive — a missing or wrong code is an instant red flag), and run any phone number, email, or social account claiming to be Binance through the Binance Verify tool before trusting it. Binance says it never proactively contacts users this way — treat all unsolicited calls, texts, or DMs claiming to be Binance support as scams by default.

    FAQ

Does Binance have a customer service phone number?

No. Binance.com has no legitimate support phone line — its own FAQ says so directly, and its scam-warning FAQ states that anyone calling claiming to be Binance support is a scammer. Binance.US, a separate US-only company, does have one (+1-844-900-1450, Mon–Fri, 9am–7pm ET), but it does not apply to the global Binance.com platform.

What’s the fastest way to reach a real Binance support agent?

Log in, open the chat icon on web or in the app, work through the AI-suggested answers by marking them unresolved, then explicitly choose to escalate to a human agent when offered.

How long should I wait before worrying about a stuck withdrawal?

Check Transaction History for a TxID first. Binance’s own guidance is to contact support only if no TxID appears within 6 hours of confirming the withdrawal by email.

I lost my 2FA device — can I get back into my account without contacting support?

Possibly, if you saved your Authenticator backup key when you set it up. Otherwise, use the in-app reset flow — but expect a 48-hour hold on withdrawals, P2P selling, payment services, and Binance Card afterward.

Is the account on X/Twitter (@BinanceHelpDesk) actually Binance?

Yes — it’s Binance’s official account for basic, generic help, and it directs account-specific issues to DM. It is not a channel for phone or email support, and Binance warns that unsolicited “support” contact from elsewhere is very likely fake.

Can I still get help from Binance if I’m an EU user affected by the 2026 restrictions?

Yes. The EU restrictions that took effect on 1 July 2026 limit trading and onboarding, not access to the support chat itself — EU accounts remain able to use live chat to manage withdrawals during the wind-down.
